Chanel Vest, 2010-15 

After four decades at Chanel, Lagerfeld earned a legacy as a creative force that reinvigorated the heritage label, infusing it with postmodern playfulness while honoring its roots. Equally versed in the languages of popular culture and the craft and traditions of couture, a combination described as ‘high fashion and high camp’, Lagerfeld’s reinvention of the brand and marketing savvy created a voracious appetite among young buyers, sealing the fate of the iconic double CC logo into this century’s visual lexicon. 

Sleeveless long white and black linen/cotton/silk tweed vest with a notched lapel and front pockets. The vest is lined with white silk woven with a CC pattern along with the name "CHANEL" in cursive. The center front closure is with bronze and gold-tone CC logo buttons. The overall design is outlined with black braid.
